Teen MakerLAB

What’s a MakerLAB? A fun group that allows Teens to explore technology under the guidance of Tech Mentors! Teen MakerLAB is generously sponsored by a grant from MathWorks.

Technology regularly used includes:

We also do special projects and classes requiring soldering, construction, etc.; topics vary and may require multiple sessions to complete a project.

All Teens must have a signed Minor Liability Waiver on file in order to attend MakerLAB. See section below to print out a copy.

Teen MakerLAB is for Teens ages 11-18; this program usually meets on a few Tuesday evenings each month.

MakerLAB Waiver

All Teen MakerLAB programs require a parent/guardian to sign a Minor Liability Waiver and return it to Teen Librarian Robin before MakerLAB. Teens will not be allowed to participate in any MakerLABs without a signed waiver on file.

*The MakerLAB waiver only needs to be signed once; your Teen is then covered for all future MakerLABs they attend!

MathWorks

MathWorks is a generous supporter of the Morse Institute's Teen MakerLAB.  The Teen MakerLAB contributes to the library's Vision of being a community learning center for all ages.  MathWorks' Social Mission aims to advance STEM education by investing in education that inspires learning and advances education in engineering, science, and math. Thank you MathWorks!
